Al7Si-Sr_crack_animation.avi

Short fatigue crack growth behaviour of a selected crack from the hipped 
Al-7Si piston alloy specimen loaded at maximum stress & strain of 148 
MPa and 0.85 respectively. The replica animation indicates the surface 
crack tip positions during the loading history. When compared with the 
optical and SEM images provided, the animation provides crucial 
information to explain the nature of crack-microstructure interaction.
